Invisibility is the only DnD condition designed to have a positive impact on the creature affected. All of the rest are detrimental.
The creature is impossible to see without magic (however the effects of their presence can still be detected – footprints, sounds…) The creature gets advantage for attack rolls against others while invisible. They also get disadvantage for attack rolls against them.
Pro Tip- many of the ways to gain invisibility, cause the creature to lose the ability once they attack or cast a spell. So! Use that one invisible attack very wisely!
